Dear Mac Graduate Students,
MCGSS is now open for nominations for executive positions in our Graduate Society at the Macdonald Campus.
The remaining vacant positions are: secretary, MCSS representative, treasurer, and public relations officer. The details of each position are in the following document: Roles of Executive Members
All executive nominations require 20 eligible voter signatures, except for the position of President, which requires 40 signatures.
Eligible voters are graduate students from Macdonald Campus.
No person shall sign more than one nomination for each office (position).
To make things easier, you can convert your nomination form into a Google doc and collect the needed signatures for your nomination.
There are two nomination forms, one with 20 slots for signatures (for all positions except president) and one with 40 slots for the president position.
The term of office for those elected into the MCGSS team by-elections shall be from June 1st until May 31 of the subsequent academic year (i.e. 2024-2025).
Candidates are required to submit a short bio (no more than 200 words) about their motivation to run for the position and their goals along with the appropriate nomination form.

- Extended nomination period for remaining vacant positions: MCGSS secretary, treasurer, MCSS representative, and public relations officer (PRO)
- The extension period: May 17th - May 24rd (inclusively)

- May 15th @10:00am to 12:00pm meet the current executives and incoming candidates
